Bill Larson, CPM - Chairman of the Board
Mr. Larson has been active in the multifamily field for over 35 years.
He has held ownership positions in several mid-sized property management firms throughout his career. He received his CPM designation and has been a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management since 1976. Bill has actively been involved in the decision-making process necessary for the
many facets multifamily housing has to offer. From HUD to LIHTC to
conventionally financed assets he has participated in the day-to-day property
management and policy formulation that has enabled each community to
achieve their owners' desired goals.
As president of several regional, as well as national property
management firms, Bill has demonstrated the outstanding ability of working
with a myriad of owners and ownership goals. His supervisory portfolio has
encompassed over 75,000 units with a value of some $6,000,000,000.
In his role as Chairman of Board, Mr. Larson is focused on the
strategic and long range planning in addition to corporate growth and
development.
Linda Rawls, CPM - President
Linda has been in the field of multifamily management since 1976. As a nationally recognized property manager, Linda has excelled in property operations. She has held positions from on site manager to district/regional manager to Vice President. She received her CPM designation in 1989 and is a past President of the Kansas City Apartment Association. During 2007, she was elected President of Bristol Properties, Inc. and appointed Chief Operating Officer.
Working in concert with the associates of Bristol Properties and the asset teams of various ownership groups, Linda has demonstrated a consistency of leadership, a sense of duty and recognition of the importance in quality property management. Be it HUD insured properties, LIHTC assets or conventionally financed properties; Linda has the qualities to position assets to their highest and best use.
Ken Mills, CPM, CCIM - Senior Vice President
Ken Mills holds two industry designations (Certified Property Manager,
CPM, and Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM) and real
estate broker licenses from Tennessee, Texas and Georgia. He has worked
for some of the largest multifamily REITs in the country at times being
responsible for over 15,000 apartment units in seven or eight states with as
many as 350 employees.
In addition to his extensive MF involvement, which includes Conventional,
Market Rate and Bond, Tax Credit, Section 8 properties, Ken has significant
experience with commercial assets, at one time being responsible for over
386 office, industrial, R&D and retail assets in over 30 states.
Ken has been involved in acquisitions, development, redevelopment and
dispositions and established the asset management division for a local
development firm that was owned primarily by Morgan Stanley.
Tom Clark, CFO
Tom Clark recently joined Bristol Properties as CFO. Mr. Clark has the responsibility of managing the Overland Park office along with analyzing and reviewing monthly and periodic reports required by clients and providing specialized reporting services as requested.
During his career, Mr. Clark worked for two major insurance carriers with responsibilities including, but not limited to, sales, regulatory compliance, analyzing competitors products and COLI/BOLI product development including private placement products. Mr. Clark is also the former CFO of a public oil & gas company.
Mr. Clark and his wife of 14 years, currently reside in Shawnee, KS with their two daughters, ages 13 and 11.
Robin Ellis - Portfolio Manager
Prior to joining Bristol Properties, Robin has been active in multifamily housing for 20 years. In addition to supervising a portfolio of properties for a major real estate advisor, Robin's forte of analyzing and developing strategies for underperforming assets, initiating and implementing marketing plans and creating comprehensive operating procedures bodes well for Bristol's growth in the field of property management.
Robin will work in concert will clients on rehabs and capital improvements, consulting with respect to distressed assets and the repositioning of these assets. With her experience with LIHTC assets, Robin will be in the forefront of initial compliance requirements for all assets under the LIHTC umbrella and work in concert with Bristol compliance department.
Brad Hedrick - Assistant Vice President
Brad Hedrick joined Bristol Properties in the fall of 2004 and has brought with him experienced knowledge on every aspect of onsite property management. Having been in the property management field for 20 years, Brad has experienced all facets of business, from maintenance to leasing to management. His skill at each level enables him to facilitate growth and development for personnel at the site level as well as working with ownership representatives.
In addition to daily responsibility as an Area Vice President, Brad has been designated as Bristol’s REAC Specialist and HUD Coordinator for all HUD related assets. In this role, Brad is charged with the responsibility of insuring the physical integrity of the asset and that asset operates within the guidelines of existing HUD regulations. Through his efforts, a rating by HUD REAC of over 90 is normal.
Judy Pope - Assistant Vice President
Judy Pope started her career in property management in 1996 supervising 608 units in Tulsa Oklahoma. Judy joined Bristol Properties in the summer of 2000 responsible for several properties in Florida. Her problem solving skills as well as her ability to be pro-active have afforded accolades from owners across the states. Her ability and willingness to relocate at a moments notice has been an asset for Bristol Properties. Judy has proven time and again that with hard work and a well thought out plan, the goals of the owner can be met. This attitude has filtered through the ranks and is a large part of Judy’s development of the staffs.
Judy and her family now reside in Liberty, Missouri as she supervises eight tax credit and conventional properties located in the Midwest.
Justin Larson, LEED Green Associate, Vice President of Sustainability
Justin joined Bristol in 2009. He has a B.S. in Urban Studies: Sustainable Development, Environment and Infrastructure from the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities. His background, in combination with ongoing education as a CPM Candidate, a LEED Green Associate, and a Realtor make Justin a valuable asset to the company. He is responsible for our company wide Sustainability program, which includes development of green, high performance, operating procedures and policies, program development for staff and residents and utility reduction strategies and benchmarking.
